Need:

a) Training needs:

CSR Building Products engaged ELMO Learning to develop a comprehensive online training solution, introducing the new Chain of Responsibility laws and subsequent obligations for all members of the supply chain.

b) Target audience:

The clients brief required the solution to cater for a very broad target audience, covering the full length of the supply chain - from Executive Management to Warehouse Staff, Loaders, Packers, Drivers, etc. Therefore, each individual's training had to be specific to their role in the supply chain.

Outcome:

Based on an extensive training needs and target group analysis, 9 modules were developed comprehensively covering CSR's Chain of Responsibility, including Safe Loads and Heavy Vehicle Driver Fatigue.

To ensure an effective learning outcome, a sophisticated yet user-friendly training matrix assigns a tailored learning program according to the user's role and responsibility within the supply chain.

The training modules contain video content and instructional images / diagrams to cater to various learning styles and literacy levels. They are interactive and engaging in nature.

Competency assessments are module-specific and produce auditable evidence of completion. This evidence is collated in a central training register, producing audit reports for all parts of the supply chain.
