Warden Instruction
Course Overview
Wardens are an important part of any emergency response plan. Wardens are responsible for responding to and helping others in case of an emergency. As such, it is important to have a well-trained and well-prepared team of wardens who are capable of responding quickly, safely, and effectively in case of an WHS emergency incident. Effective response to an emergency requires that wardens are aware of and able to use emergency equipment (such as portable fire extinguishers), know the emergency evacuation plan and assembly points, and are able to respond to a multitude of potential emergency situations (such as a bomb threat or suspicious package). This module will cover the organisation's emergency response policies and procedures, and provide information on how to correctly respond to various emergency situations.
