Outcome:

As part of their safety management system, QUT required the ability to provide annual emergency and evacuation training to all staff across multiple campuses.

Some of QUT's key points regarding their emergency and evacuation training includes:

• Catering for varying evacuation procedures across multiple locations (including campuses, buildings and particular floors);
• The capacity to rapidly deploy training to all staff including full-time employees, casual and part-time employees, contractors, and staff who work after-hours;
• The ability to centralise access to evacuation diagrams to ensure that staff are provided with up-to-date emergency information 24/7.

The module employs the use of advanced multimedia to cater for different learning modes and ensure high retention of vital safety information. A competency assessment then reinforces the key information and provides a record of completion within the online database.
