Conflict of Interest
Course Overview
In working life, there may be occasions where there is conflict of interest between our own personal values, or those of our family and friends, our professional values or organisational values.
When there is conflict of these interests, it is important that learners are able to recognise this conflict and resolve it in an ethical manner. This Conflict of Interest module has been designed to guide learners in identifying and resolving conflicts of interests and to increase their understanding of ethics and how to manage and resolve ethical issues within workplaces.

Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, learners should be able to:- Define ethics and the process of ethical decision making.

- Explain what a conflict of interest is, and identify the different types of conflict of interest and how they might arise in a working environment.
- Explain the process for resolving a conflict of interest within the workplace.
