Course Overview
First aid and the role of the first aid officer in the workplace is a key strategy of most OHS management plans. First aid is a legislative requirement in most States and Territories. This package gives a broad overview of the common types of injuries that may occur in most workplaces, and the type of immediate treatment that may be applied to injured or ill persons.
There are many types of injuries that occur at work - some are more predictable than others. The purpose of this package is to outline the common types of injuries, and offer suggestions for their immediate treatment.
