Food poisoning is an illness which occurs after eating harmful food. Bacteria are responsible for most food poisoning outbreaks. Food poisoning is extremely serious and in certain instances, can be fatal and outbreaks can affect many people at one time. Most types of food poisoning can be prevented if food is handled properly. It is therefore vital to understand how to prevent food poisoning.
