Office Safety

Course Overview

All organisations in Australia must follow the Occupational Health and Safety laws and regulations set by state governments. Both managers and employees need to follow safety policies and procedures in order to prevent injuries and accidents in the office.

You probably think your office is a safe place to work - yet every year thousands of people in Australia are injured while working in the office. You may imagine building sites and factories are the only hazardous places to work, however accidents and injuries can occur at any workplace.

It is essential that new employees receive adequate safety training during their orientation to the office. To improve office safety employees should be aware of potential hazards and take appropriate precautions to reduce the risk of injury.

This course will provide learners with an understanding of the issues associated with office safety and will allow learners to develop techniques to reduce the risk of accidents and injury while working in an office.
