Procurement
Course Overview
Procurement is a strategic and multifaceted process, which has a direct impact on an organisation's bottom line. This business function should be aligned to the overall organisational strategy with the main purpose being to extract maximum benefit for the institution when purchasing goods and/or services from a third party.
This module is aimed at developing awareness and applied understanding in managers and/or decision makers who are responsible for the procurement process in their workplace. Procurement, its principles and related documentation are defined and the procurement process is explained in a step-by-step manner.
